Celebrating festivals is an integral part of learning. Being a diverse country, through such celebrations, students’ not only learn the significance behind the festival, but they also learn to embrace other traditions and culture just like they do with their own. Keeping up to this tradition, the festival of Dussehra was celebrated by our toddlers. A special assembly was conducted on Dussehra by the students of Grade 2 in which the students spoke on the significance of the festival. They also depicted a short story on Ramayana and beautiful dandiya dance was also presented by students of grade 1. Students of Pre Nry to KG portrayed a role play in which they were beautifully dressed up to play the role of their favourite mythological character from Ramayana.
All the children enthusiastically participated and enjoyed the celebration.
