A cacophony of silence pervades the eerie streets;
All humans cloistered and swathed in masks of disarray;
Each one tormented and anguished, languishing au solitaire;
Is the mighty human race on its raggedy sinful knees?
We flounder haplessly in a cesspool of angst;
Coughing and spluttering whilst nature scoffs;
As we reap the harvest of anarchy and blunder;
Lets unmask our souls awhile and ponder;
We lust for power and are lured by lucre;
We plunder and we pillage with scant recess;
Entrenched in the morass of our transgressions;
Is it any wonder that Armageddon is upon us!
