The Environment Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm from 9th to 13th July, 2025, at Swiss Cottage School, New Delhi. Students from Grades III to VIII actively participated in a series of creative and educational activities designed to promote environmental awareness and responsibility.
???? Activities Conducted:
1. Extempore: Students confidently expressed their views on various environment-related topics, enhancing their public speaking skills while raising awareness about environmental issues.
2. Poster Making and Slogan Writing: Participants showcased their imagination by creating posters and writing thought-provoking slogans on themes like Aquatic Life and Our Planet Today. The event was graced by our respected Principal Ma’am, who appreciated the creativity and efforts of the students and encouraged them with her inspiring words.
3. Knowing the Medicinal Value of Plants: Students visited the school garden to learn about various medicinal plants and their uses, increasing their awareness about the healing power of nature.
4. Storytelling Activity: Students shared imaginative stories on the theme “A Day on Planet X”, designing their own planet with unique temperature, gravity, and life conditions. This activity sparked creativity and environmental thinking in a fun way.
5. Green Pledge Wall: Students wrote and displayed personal pledges on the Green Pledge Wall, committing themselves to eco-friendly habits and promising to care for the environment.
